Frequently asked questions
Why are the exact birth time and place important?
Birth time determines the Hour Pillar; birthplace helps calculate local time. Use a birth certificate or hospital record if available. If the time is uncertain, treat the interpretation with that uncertainty in mind.
How do individual and compatibility readings differ?
An individual reading focuses on your Four Pillars, Five Elements and chart structure. A compatibility reading uses both people's birth details to offer another perspective on their relationship.
Can I make decisions based on a BaZi reading?
A reading can support reflection and conversation. Important career, relationship and financial decisions also need real-world information, personal preferences and practical considerations.
Will my chart be saved?
